Capturing Paris for Louise Parker’s New Era
A Different Kind of Trip to Paris
Paris wasn’t on our schedule for work last year, but when country artist and model Louise Parker invites you to capture content for her new album, you pack your bags. This wasn’t our usual Essex-based campaign. It was something completely different, creatively demanding, and incredibly exciting.
The Story Behind Miserable in Paris
Louise’s upcoming song, Miserable in Paris, plays with the idea of hoping someone is miserable without you, even in the most romantic city in the world. Louise is working on a project set for summer 2026, and the brief was simple but ambitious, create imagery that screams “Paris” in a single frame, while carrying the attitude and edge of the track title.
With the sharp planning and direction of Madeline Chrissy, we built a visual route around the city that aligned with the story, the lyrics and the emotion behind the project.
Touring the City of Love
We moved through Paris fast and intentionally. The Eiffel Tower. Moulin Rouge. Side streets with character. Iconic corners that speak for themselves. Every location was chosen to contrast the beauty of the city with the sharpness and honesty of Louise’s message.
Louise was outstanding to work with. Her ability to shift from artist to model made the process fluid and intentional. Madeline matched that energy perfectly, keeping the shoot structured, on-brand and ahead of schedule.
The Production Behind the Scenes
Across the trip we captured over 1,700 photos and more than 100 video clips, including social-ready assets, cover art variations and short-form performance moments. Everything was delivered within one week, edited, organised and ready for rollout across Louise’s campaign.
Our kit for the shoot included the Canon EOS R paired with the 24-70mm f2.8, the 16mm f1.8, and the 85mm f2, supported by a RØDE microphone to help lock in clean reference audio for the video clips. The Peak Design Capture Clip was the unsung hero of the trip, giving us instant access to the camera as we moved through Paris.
Why Musicians Trust Us
Artists and managers come to us when they need content that actually moves a project forward. Not just pretty visuals, but campaign-ready assets with strategy behind them. This Paris project proved again what happens when planning, speed and creativity align.
A Glimpse of What We Created
Below is a selection of the images from the trip. Each one was built to serve the story of Miserable in Paris and the wider vision for Petty in Pink.
